The Charles Gordon Trust

it only takes a grain of sand to move an island.

We will, grain by grain, create a better environment for all of us to live in.

It takes a village to raise a child…

The Charles Gordon Trust cares about the impact of community involvement in shaping children’s futures, that is why we work hard to support underprivileged children by providing resources, education, and opportunities to help them thrive. Raising a child is a collective effort and that donations play a crucial role in making a difference. The message is clear: by working together, we can create a brighter future for children in need.

fundraising dinner

The Charles Gordon Trust organised a follow-up fundraiser dinner to honour Elianne Andam’s memory and raise funds for those affected by Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

The event was attended by the Metropolitan Police, the elected Mayor of Croydon, the ceremonial Mayor, and community leaders. In a deeply moving moment, Elianne’s family took to the stage, surrounded by the audience, who stood together in a heartfelt prayer of comfort and support. The evening also featured a three-course dinner, live entertainment, and a live auction, uniting the community in solidarity and commitment.

OUR LATEST Project

We recently carried out a survey amongst the Croydon and Lewisham community of children, parents and teachers, where it was reported that many children who came from families struggling financially due to the cost-of-living crisis, were negatively impacted by the lack of free school meals.

The main goal of our project is to focus on providing extra support and meals to children who are impacted by the cost-of-living crisis and to ensure that no child goes hungry at school, due to the current financial climate.

In the first 6 months of our project, we plan to support 300 children in Croydon and Lewisham.

On successful completion of the project, will expand into other areas of London.
